This was a difficult gig to photograph because of the harsh lighting and heavy back lighting. I managed to coax this image out of those shooting conditions (this one is my favorite). I'm not too familiar with Goldfrapp because, in terms of strong female dance-pop figures, I'm already listening to Roisin Murphy and Robyn, and I have a bit of inertia in terms of getting around to new music... But this was a great introduction. Much thanks to my pal Colleen who whisked me away to this show last minute for Vevant. Full article and a few more pictures here.

Goldfrapp at Hammerstein Ballroom
This was a difficult gig to photograph because of the harsh lighting and heavy back lighting. I managed to coax this image out of those shooting conditions (this one is my favorite). I'm not too familiar with Goldfrapp because, in terms of strong female dance-pop figures, I'm already listening to Roisin Murphy and Robyn, and I have a bit of inertia in terms of getting around to new music...
