The Raveonettes / Nickel Eye @ Webster Hall

I accompanied my writer friend Colleen who was interviewing Nikolai Fraiture about his solo effort, Nickel Eye. (Get it?) His band was opening for the Raveonettes at Webster Hall this Friday night. Anyway, I got a chance to take a quick backstage snap.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Raveonettes. I fall head over heels for dreamy guitars and vocals! And Sharin Foo's bold bangs and platinum 'do.

How was Nickle Eye? He's playing Los Angeles tonight and I'm on the fence about seeing his show.

I saw the Raveonettes a few nights ago, though, and thoroughly enjoyed it. =)

He was good! I couldn't focus much on the music though because I was in my shutterbug zone. I say, give him a chance.
