Purity Ring at Webster Hall

My photographer friends usually complain about how Purity Ring loves to play in the dark, but these recent shows had some great lighting! I'm glad to catch them on a good night, lighting-wise. I thought the visuals were entrancing. A few more photos at House List!

Asheville has a special place in my heart, and I try my best to visit whenever I can, especially during the annual Moogfest music festival over Halloween weekend. Though I was a little bit disappointed that the festival was scaled back (two official days this year versus last year's three days and additional venues), I did see some fantastic bands and take a fascinating tour of the Moog Factory, where I was able to catch an exclusive Sound Lab recording (see below).
